BARRIOS RECEIVES TWO SAFETY AND HEALTH EXCELLENCE AWARDS
HOUSTON, TX -
The Johnson Space Center (JSC) 2008 Contractor Safety Forum Excellence Award – NOVA went to two contracts at Barrios Technology. The Orion Program Integration Contract (OPIC), awarded to Barrios in 2008, is a first time recipient and the Mission Integration Contract (MIC) is a third year recipient. Accepting the awards for Barrios were Contract Safety Representatives, Lyndsey Fielding on the behalf of OPIC, and Tiki Brackens on the behalf of MIC.
JSC Contractor Safety Forum (CSF) Safety and Health Excellence Award recognizes those contractor organizations that realize levels of significant achievement in safety and health performance, are active participants in the CSF and Contractor Affairs Safety Committee (CASC), and have made specific contributions to safety innovation or service to the community.
