BARRIOS TECHNOLOGY RECEIVES SILVER BOEING PERFORMANCE EXCELLENCE AWARD
HOUSTON, TX -
Barrios Technology announced that it has received a 2008 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Barrios Technology maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from October 1, 2007, to September 30, 2008.
This year, Boeing recognized 411 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Barrios Technology is among 325 suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition.
"It is an honor to be selected for the Boeing Performance Excellence Award," stated Ms. Sandy Johnson, president of Barrios. "We strive to perform to the highest standards, and it is gratifying to be recognized for our work."
Barrios provides aerospace engineering services to Boeing for the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station. Founded in 1980, Barrios focuses on America’s space exploration, working with Federal Government Agencies and large aerospace contractors.
