BARRIOS EMPLOYEE TOOD O'NEAL HONORED FOR VOLUNTEER EFFORTS
JOHNSON SPACE CENTER (Houston, TX): Barrios Contracts Administrator Todd O’Neal was recently selected as the Space City-Houston Chapter National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Volunteer of the Year.
A key element to the success of the NCMA is the volunteer efforts by its members. O’Neal has been a member of the organization since November 2002. “He was an extremely integral member of the 2011 National Education Seminar (NES) committee in this current program year”, said NCMA Space City-Houston Chapter VP for Operations, Janet Arkinson; who nominated O’Neal for the recognition. “Todd spent an exceptional amount of time and effort in helping the NES chairs to prepare for the event. He negotiated with the hotel, researched the proper audio/visual equipment for us to use and negotiated with contractor, and arrived early at the NES location and made sure everything was set up on-time to accommodate the attendees. “
O’Neal has been with Barrios Technology for 11 years and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. O’Neal was presented his award at a luncheon held in August at the Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake.
