Barrios' Settles Recognized for Unique NASA Thermal System Relocation

Barrios employee Joe Settles was recently recognized for his outstanding work on the NASA’s Titan Guarded Hot Plate Thermal Conductivity Measuring System relocation at Johnson Space Center. The TITAN system is a thermal conductivity measuring instrument used to test material used in space, and is the only thermal conductivity instrument in the world capable of measuring thermal conductivity under high vacuum conditions. Settles supports Barrios’ subcontract to Jacobs Technology on the Johnson Space Center Engineering and Technical Support Contract (JETS) contract and was selected to receive the award from his Jacobs Technology management.
