Program and project lifecycles require tightly integrated technical and program controls to achieve optimal results. Any impacts to a work schedule are tightly coupled with cost and are critical to program success. Our analysts understand the critical path and other dependencies that must be integrated, tracked, assessed, and managed.
CONFIGURATION & DATA MANAGEMENT
Barrios’ customers are assured of receiving all major Configuration Management (CM) elements, such as Planning & Management | Identification | Change Management | Configuration Status Accounting | Verification & Audits | and Board and Panel Design and Administration.
Our data management functions are used to supply a key NASA program office with easily accessible, secure and valid program data utilizing authorized program repositories and access authorization safeguards.
PROGRAM ASSESSMENTS
Giving customers the ability to evaluate program and project information to identify risks and anticipate problems for timely mitigation is an essential service provided by our assessment specialists.
Evaluations consider schedule, cost/resources, technical and historical cost baselines, and performance information to provide early warnings for possible cost and program impacts. Our evaluations record ground rules and assumptions, input data, the analytical treatment of this data, alternative courses of action, and recommendations for any further action.
PROJECT COORDINATION AND CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
Our engineers have the engineering and technical management skills to independently interface with and provide direction to major hardware/software providers on behalf of our customers. We have demonstrated experience performing as subcontract technical managers for NASA in oversight of their major subcontractors who are providing hardware and technical support.
