Barrios Awarded Boeing Engineering and Technical Support Services (BETS III) Contract for Software Services

Barrios Technology was recently awarded the Boeing Engineering and Technical Support Services (BETS III) contract for Software Services. This is Barrios’ third consecutive win of this work since 2010.

The Software Services work to support the International Space Station and Boeing Starliner includes software services in Avionics and Software Systems Engineering and Integration, and Software Development Integration Laboratory (SDIL) Maintenance and Operations.

The successful bid for BETS III was underpinned by our history of excellent cost performance, demonstrated record of providing critical resources and employee retention, and an unbroken record of  technical performance reinforced by an outstanding and responsive business management team.

For 18 consecutive years, including the BETS predecessor contract, Boeing has acknowledged our performance excellence by awarding Barrios the Exceptional Company Performance Award (2005), Supplier of the Year Award (2006), and Supplier Diversity Award (2007). In 2022 and 2023, Barrios was  again nominated for the Supplier of the Year Award, which speaks to our goal of providing extraordinary value.

“Barrios is honored to continue the mission to support the International Space Station and Starliner through BETS III and our continued relationship with The Boeing Company. The success of this contract is due to the extraordinary value our team delivers on a daily basis and I couldn’t be more proud of them.  We dedicate our efforts to achieving the mission of our customers and delivering superior performance through our innovative and passionate workforce,” says Kelly Page, President of Barrios Technology.

The contract will commence on October 1, 2024 with a total potential performance period of seven years.
